Built to Solve the Difficult Applications
Aerospace and defense programs run fluid systems that sit outside standard process conditions: cryogenic propellants, hydrogen, hypergolics, test pressures into five figures, flow rates measured in milliliters per minute, and temperature extremes at both ends. Most of these applications are one-off or low-volume, which means the valve has to be engineered to the condition rather than selected from a catalog.
That's the work Richards Industrials is built for. Each brand contributes something specific:
Equilibar — dome-loaded back pressure regulators for pressures to 10,000 psig, mixed-phase and cryogenic media, and turndown ranges no conventional valve can span. Applied in propulsion test stands, hydrogen systems and component qualification rigs.
LowFlow Valve — high-pressure, extreme-low-flow regulators and control valves for precise metering where standard trim is orders of magnitude too large.
Marwin Valve — cryogenic, metal-seated and special-seated ball valves for LOX, LH2 and LN2 service, plus automated packages for remote isolation on test articles and propellant systems.
Hex Valve — instrument valves and manifolds for gauge, transmitter and sampling connections throughout high-pressure test infrastructure.
Jordan Valve — regulators and control valves for steam, gas and utility systems across facilities, hangars and depot operations.
Our application engineers work from your operating conditions, media and interface requirements, and configure materials, trim and actuation to match. Products are designed and manufactured in the United States.
