Receipt for food bought for Thanksgiving Day meals Every year, the competition among the departments begin – which department can donate the most boxes of food for the annual Thanksgiving Day Meals. A local ministry, Crossroads Church, collects enough boxes of food to feed over 115,000 people! Each box filled feeds family of 10 people.

This year, Richards Industries and its employees donated over 125 boxes to the local church. “It’s a good way to give back. As a company, we try to find a way to give back and be a part of something. Crossroads makes it easy for us,” said Cheryl Neiheisel, V.P. of Human Resources.

Crossroads Church is a local ministry who partners both locally and nationally,  with churches and faith-based ministries, to provide Thanksgiving meals to over 115,000 people. They also send 90,000 pounds of food to partners in South Africa.
