Jordan Valve Introduces Newly Redesigned Mark 93 Sanitary Steam Trap

Jordan Valve is pleased to introduce the newly redesigned Mark 93 sanitary steam trap.

The Mark 93 is a thermostatic steam trap designed specifically for use in clean steam systems demanding that sanitary conditions be maintained. It features a 20Ra internal finish and a self-draining design to minimize the possibility of medium entrapment and bacterial growth.

The improved configuration of the Mark 93 has been specifically designed to provide higher flow rates at low pressures and low subcooling levels. In lab testing, the Mark 93 has exhibited excellent flow rates at subcooling levels of only 5°F.

There are two designs featured in the Mark 93: the standard MK93 which is good for differential pressures up to 65 psi, and the Mark 93HP for differential pressures ranging from 50 - 90 psi. Both designs are rated to 90 psi operating pressure (hydrostatically tested to 450 psi) but provide best performances when used within their differential pressure ratings.

The Mark 93 is available in sizes 1/2" through 1" with sanitary clamp ends standard and tube weld ends, DIN/ISO, and threaded optional.
