Bestobell Steam Introduces the New DT711 Disc Trap
Bestobell Steam recently introduced the new DT711 Disc Trap. The DT-711 Series is a line of compact, lightweight, thermodynamic style disc traps designed to efficiently discharge condensate on applications with working pressure to 711 psi.
Among the key features of the DT-711 are: single moving part, high capacities, rugged design, unaffected by freezing and water hammer, easy to check cyclic operation and end connections that are NPT standard with BSP available.
Typical applications include: steam main drainage and tracer lines, process equipment, laundry and kitchen equipment, superheated steam applications, and outdoor installations subject to freezing.
The DT-711 Series is available in sizes 3/8", 1/2", 3/4" and 1". Maximum allowable pressure is 711 psi. Maximum allowable temperature is 799°F. Maximum operating back pressure at the outlet should not exceed 70% of the inlet pressure. Minimum differential pressure for satisfactory operation equals 3.5 psi.
